Recurring Missions

Also like clockwork, dark horse dev K shipped a new feature which we’ve been eyeing for a while. Recurring Missions add another layer of flexibility for ZAP projects that want to verify their users' on-chain activity over time. For example, our friends at Pudgy Penguins can now verify and reward community members for holding their Pudgies throughout the entire year. Recurring missions gamify this process by asking users to verify holding of a Pudgy multiple times (e.g., every week) and reward them with XP for doing so. If it’s nice, verify it twice!

Major benefits of Recurring Missions:

  • Users know to regularly check back on ZAP to collect XP and engage with a project

  • Projects see their workload reduced on ZAP by setting up a mission once rather than multiple times. Choose mission type, set recurrence frequency, go outside and touch grass (in that order) 🧘‍♀️

ZAP Launch - UI/UX Improvements

Admittedly, we've been delaying our mainnet launch to ensure both optimal security and user experience. While we improved security robustness with the help of Zokyo and Sherlock, our trusted daddy dev aka. Badger made sure that our “overly pedantic” UI/UX requirements are met. Safe to say all i’s were dotted and all t’s were crossed 😂

Collecting XP will allow you to level up, and the higher your level the more benefits you’ll get in our airdrop, which already includes some $ZAP and our Blast Gold allocation.

Support Docs

Our goal is to build an intuitive product that doesn’t need support docs. However, this is a process (and maybe even a pipe dream?) that takes time. For projects launching a token and setting up missions on ZAP Launch, we've prepared a collection of documents to guide you through the steps, if needed. If you have any questions or would like anything added, feel free to reach out to @salt_zap on Telegram. Support docs here

Bugs

After our successful Vault Sale launch, some community members reported issues with displaying their Vault balance and daily emissions. Once again, Badger to the rescue. All Vault holdings, number of referrals, emissions, and bonus multipliers are now correctly displayed in your Vault dashboard.

This week in numbers

🐞 Bugs outstanding: 57

🔨 Bugs fixed this week: 10

We’re still chopping away at bugs, although they’ve taken a much smaller priority this week. Next week we’ll put more focus in getting to ZERO Bugs.

Another excellent effort from the ZAP team this week, which only leaves one question: wen mainnet? Theoretically, today. But Friday deployments are a sin at ZAP and shall be avoided at all costs, as our devs deserve some rest on weekends. See next week on Blast 😉
