New Feature: NFT Vault Drops

This past week saw the addition of a feature highly-anticipated by our ZAP Vault holders: Vault NFT Drops. ZAP Vault holders (as one of many benefits) receive periodic NFT drops from their favourite communities. The NFT Vault Drops feature lets ZAP Vault owners easily view past NFT drops, see whether they’ve won a drop, and keep tabs on upcoming drops.

We celebrated the release of the feature in style, by dropping a Pudgy Penguin to a lucky Vault holder (check the tx here). To ensure full transparency and authenticate on-chain randomness, we integrated Gelato’s VRF (Verifiable Random Function).

New Feature: Referral Mission

One of the main challenges early-stage web3 projects face is building a solid community, which is what we're solving at ZAP.

Referrals have long been one of the most effective methods of acquiring new users and building community. Naturally, we had to give projects their own tool to reward referrals.

Our new Referral Mission allows users on ZAP to earn ZAP XP or allocation in projects’ upcoming raises. A successful referral can be (i) a fresh wallet, (ii) a referral who completed a mission, or (iii) a referral who also verified their email address; projects aim for different targets and therefore require varying “quality” of referrals—this feature helps achieve exactly that.

New Feature: Forms Mission

While getting new community members through the door with your new referral tool, it’s equally important to keep tabs on your existing community.

While socials channels can reveal community sentiment to an extent, sophisticated projects tend to collect and analyse data. Our new “form” mission allows projects to set up forms/surveys, with both text and multiple choice questions for their community to fill out.

The cherry on top? All data is easily and accessible directly on ZAP. No need to download any sheets and toss together graphs in Excel 🍒

Blast Point API Integration

A BIG one for our loyal Zappers. With our soft-launch on mainnet last week, we've successfully integrated with the Blast (Gold) Point distribution API. We will be receiving both our Blast Points from winning the Blast Big Bang Competition and Blast Gold Points for our traction on the Blast network so far. Unfortunately we don’t yet know the exact amount of Blast points allocated to ZAP, but we’ll post an update as soon as we know!

We anticipate to be featured on the Blast Point leaderboard and begin distribution to our community as soon as the next round of Blast Points are distributed.

New Hire: Welcome, Donny!

Last but not least, we're thrilled to share that our product team continues to grow! We're excited to welcome Donny, our new lead Smart Contract developer, to our team. Donny brings 6+ years of experience in the web3 space and has previously worked on exciting ventures such as DappRadar. We're looking forward to the many exciting solutions Donny will help us build!
