ZAP Testnet is now live!

This week we've released our public testnet.

This week we've released our public testnet.

Introducing ZAP Testnet

The big announcement this week, is that our testnet is now officially open to the public. Simply head to our app and use the code 1337Z to start testing the token launch protocol of the future. You can read this thread for everything you need to know about using the testnet, but here are a few things you can check out.

Invest in a ZAP Launch. ZAP Launch is our permissionless launch protocol, allowing both weird and wonderful tokens to be deployed in under 5 minutes. On our testnet, you can take a look at all the pools that have been created and invest in them (with testnet USDB), using our best in class investor experience.

Launch your own token. Take a look at our creator app, and launch your own token, just make sure you mint some test ETH on Blast Sepolia, and you should have all you need to launch your own utility token or memecoin, make sure you create some missions so that those who get involved in your early community are rewarded for their efforts.

Complete some missions. Missions are what make ZAP. Goodbye lotteries, goodbye token-gated launches, hello earned allocation. Most Launches created on ZAP will have missions you can take part in to increase your allocation, feel free to complete a few and let us know how you find it!

Of course, if you find any bugs (however small) please do report them using this form. Include your wallet address and you’ll win a chance at getting a share of our Big Bang prize!

Sneak peek at B2B Reskin

For the keen eyed among you, you might notice that our creator app has quite a different look and feel to our investor app. This is because we designed the creator app with usability in mind, and before we had finalised the designs for the investor app (tight deadlines for the Big Bang Competition!)

This week we’ve been working with our very talented lead designer, Jimbo, to create a creator experience that is not only highly usable, but also ties in nicely with the ZAP branding.

Take a look below, we’ll probably start on this the week after next, once we’ve made a serious dent in the bug board.

Bugs Update

Bugs bugs bugs. This is going to be our only focus until our mainnet launch. The building of all new features has been put on hold while Prodigo and Badge churn through internally and community reported bugs like butter.

We’ve had a fantastic response for our public bug bounty programme with over 100 bugs being reported, we’re currently averaging around 30 bugs fixed a day, and we’re aiming to get to a zero bug policy (zero outstanding bugs, and all bugs fixed within 24 hours) by March.

Also check out our public board, it's finally live!

🐞 Bugs outstanding: 125

🔨 Bugs fixed this week: 110

See you next week

Love
