Vault Sale

The prize pig (is that an expression?) this week has been the launch of ZAP Vaults. A tonne of work has gone into the product to make sure we deliver maximum value for Vault holders and the ecosystem alike. Here’s a quick reminder of the benefits:

  • Daily ZAP rewards

  • Bluechip NFT drops

  • USDB Referral bonuses

  • Platform benefits

Of course, baking in utility wasn’t enough for the ZAP product time. Our trusty full stack, Badge, came to the rescue and put together this incredible dashboard that we think properly gamifies the process of owning a vault, making the experience super fun!

Rollup Mission

Kunal, our full stack dev, has been working on a pretty unique feature this week. In ZAP Drops, we wanted to reward our community for completing missions of other products. That’s why we’ve built a “roll-up” mission. Starting at mainnet launch (next week), any missions you complete on Launch or other Drops projects, will reward you with XP in our airdrop.

Collecting XP will allow you to level up, and the higher your level the more benefits you’ll get in our airdrop, which already includes some $ZAP and our Blast Gold allocation.

Scalability Improvements

Ok, I’m not going to lie this is a bit of a boring one, but super important. We’ve experienced a stupid amount of throughput on the platform in the last few days. In order to keep up and prepare ourself for mainnet. One of the big improvements we’ve made is implementing Redis

What’s Redis? Glad you asked

Redis is an open-source, in-memory data structure store, used as a database, cache, and message broker. It supports data structures such as strings, hashes, lists, sets, sorted sets with range queries, bitmaps, hyperloglogs, geospatial indexes with radius queries, and streams.

Definitely did not just copy that from ChatGPT 🤫

Bugs

We’re still chopping away at bugs, although they’ve taken a much smaller priority this week. Next week we’ll put more focus in getting to ZERO Bugs.
